The Bayou Teche Museum in New Iberia is excited to announce the unveiling of an exhibit of original art by internationally recognized artist, Hunt Slonem. "Bayou, Birds and Butterflies" will feature several paintings from Slonem's Albania plantation home in Jeanerette, as well as some from other museums and private collections.

Did you know Iberia Parish is home to one of the largest Lao communities in the USA? Or that there is a Buddhist Temple located in the city? Works of the world-famous artist George Rodrigue are coming to New Iberia's Bayou Teche Museum Jan. 14-June 30, 2015 in an exhibit titled, "George Rodrigue Comes Home: Under Iberia's Live Oaks with George Rodrigue and his Blue Dog," in partnership with the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts.
