Local farmers selling produce, plants, honey, homemade pies or any item made/produced locally. Grass-fed beef, pork and lamb are also available at the meat market during this time. The market also keeps produce in the GLC Farm Store during the week.

Additionally, enjoy conversations with francophones and francophiles who visit New Iberia from all over the world as well as students in the French Immersion setting at North Lewis Elementary. This event supports the New Iberia recreation department. There will be plenty of shopping, delicious food trucks and activities for the kids along with many home business, arts and crafts booths as well as sweets and treats.

The Iberia Jazz Band will be performing patriot music, presentation of colors by BSA Troop 331, POW Table, laying of the Memorial Wreath and a 21 Gun Salute by VFW Post 1982.

Also included are hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and much more. The market is held every Saturday morning from 7 - 12 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 6 p.m.

The first Friday of each month will feature local Cajun music while remaining Fridays will feature a variety of singers, songwriters as well as local legends. Pie Bar will offer a 10% discount on all menu items, every Monday, to all residents of New Iberia. Residents will simply show their drivers license (or other ID) to receive 10% off their food and drink order. Happy Hour is from 3-5pm with beer or a glass of wine at 1/2 price.
