Experience a harvest of delicious homegrown produce and home-made products by area farmers, artists and crafters. Also included are hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and much more. The market is held every Saturday morning from 7 - 12 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 6 p.m.

"Table Beausoleil" in honor of Beausoleil Broussard and the first Acadian settlers will meet every Tuesday morning to speak French.

Local farmers selling produce, plants, honey, homemade pies or any item made/produced locally. Grass-fed beef, pork and lamb are also available at the meat market during this time. The market also keeps produce in the GLC Farm Store during the week.

Every Thursday. Celebrate our Cajun culture and improve your French speaking skills regardless of your level of French. Additionally, enjoy conversations with francophones and francophiles who visit New Iberia from all over the world as well as students in the French Immersion setting at North Lewis Elementary. Vive le francais!

The first Friday of each month will feature local Cajun music while remaining Fridays will feature a variety of singers, songwriters as well as local legends. Pie Bar will offer a 10% discount on all menu items, every Monday, to all residents of New Iberia. Residents will simply show their drivers license (or other ID) to receive 10% off their food and drink order. Happy Hour is from 3-5pm with beer or a glass of wine at 1/2 price.

This new, outdoor, pop-up mini-market will offer artisan designed and crafted gifts, toys, scents and more. The event is an official stop of the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce's Very Berry Christmas Quest, but everyone is invited to shop. Visit Church Alley's Facebook for details.

Join in the holiday fun with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sing-along with musician, Matt Castille, and enjoy brunch and holiday beverages. The event is an official stop of the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce's Very Berry Christmas Quest, but everyone is welcome to join in the fun. See their Facebook page for more information.

Bayou Traditions Inc. will present the annual Downtown New Iberia Christmas parade. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. 100,000+ lights have been installed along the parade route, which runs from Lee Street to Jefferson Street. There will be Christmas floats, dance schools and band performances along with plenty of Christmas throws. Read about more holiday events here.

The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with local businesses, will be hosting a family scavenger hunt to celebrate the Christmas season in Iberia Parish. Families will pick up goody bags filled with coupons and holiday treats at the chamber's office, along with their quest cards which track the activities they participate in throughout the day.
