The Bayou Teche Museum is thrilled to announce the 1st annual Music on Main™ event, scheduled for Thurs., Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at New Iberia’s newest venue, Bayou Teche Trading Company (200 W. Main St.), and promises an evening packed with live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and exciting community spirit.
Music on Main™ will feature live musical performances by two dynamic local favorites: The Eighties Experience and 5th Avenue, alongside a special set by comedian Jerrod Guillory.
Attendees can expect a fun-filled night of entertainment while supporting a worthy cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards the continued expansion of the Bayou Teche Museum, particularly its work on the Doc Voorhies Wing, and other enhancements to preserve the rich cultural and historical treasures of the New Iberia area.
Sponsorships:
The museum is offering three sponsorship levels for those wishing to show their support:
- Gold ($1,000)
- Silver ($500)
- Bronze ($250)
Sponsorship will not only assist with covering the costs of the event but also enable the museum to further its efforts in showcasing the region’s unique history. By becoming a sponsor, individuals and businesses contribute to the ongoing preservation and promotion of local cultural assets while gaining recognition as community supporters. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and the museum encourages those interested to reach out as soon as possible.
Tickets:
The evening will also include delicious food and drinks available for purchase, adding to the festive atmosphere. Tickets are priced at $50 for early birds (before Nov. 8) and $60 after Nov. 8. Tickets can be purchased through the QR code here or on the museum's website.
