A 10 mile race for kayaks, canoes, pirogues, and SUP’s from Jeanerette to Charenton through the parishes of Iberia and St. Mary. The race begins in Jeanerette City Park and ends on the Chitimacha Reservation (Chitimacha Boat Landing). Many classes of paddlecraft, everyone is welcome. Registration includes a lunch, snacks and a drink after the race, as well as a “Tour du Teche” T-Shirt. Registration and check-in opens at 7:30 a.m., shuttle meets at start at 8 a.m., race start at 9:30 a.m. Visit their website for full schedule.
