Bunk Johnson Jazz Collection Room
Mon-Fri by appointment. A special exhibit located at Iberia Parish Library’s main branch. Bunk Johnson was a Jazz musician from New Iberia who is credited for teaching Louis Armstrong and other Jazz legends. Learn more about Bunk Johnson and his music in this historical collection.
Jeanerette Museum
Thurs-Fri 10AM-4PM. Last tour at 3PM. Admission. Group tours welcome. Video on planting and harvesting of sugarcane. Sugarcane industry history exhibits and antique sugarcane harvest equipment. Local history, sewing collections, Swamp Room, Military Room, Mardi Gras Room, Cypress Room and large collection of pictures of the past in Jeanerette.
