(Updated 10/29/25) The Books Along the Teche Literary Festival is giving readers a brand-new way to connect ahead of its 10th anniversary celebration April 10 – 12, 2026. Festival organizers are thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever Books Along the Teche Literary Festival Book Club — an interactive online community where book lovers can read, discuss, and engage with works by authors connected to the Festival.
The club will highlight titles from upcoming presenters, including the 2026 Great Southern Writer Rick Bragg, whose lyrical storytelling and honest depictions of Southern life have earned him national acclaim. Other selections will showcase beloved Louisiana voices and diverse storytellers whose works reflect the culture and character of the South.
How to Join:
Readers of all formats — paperback, e-book, or audiobook — are welcome. Discussions and updates will take place in the Festival’s Facebook Book Club group, which can be joined here.
And don’t worry if you can’t read every title — the club is designed so members can pop in at any time to join the conversation.

The Books Along the Teche Literary Festival celebrates the rich culture of Louisiana through literature, history, music, food, and art. Since 2016, the festival has brought together authors, readers, and visitors from across the country to experience the charm of historic downtown New Iberia and the stories rooted in the Bayou Teche region. The 2026 festival marks its 10th anniversary as a premier event for Southern storytelling.
