Miss Boo Iberia Pageant
Welcome to the Miss Boo Iberia Pageant, being held in conjunction with the New Iberia Halloween Parade and Festival. Age groups include Baby Miss through Lady. All contestants shall compete in costume or Halloween attire. Royalty will be invited to participate in the Parade and Festival.
Tailgating Cook-off
A family fun day with live music, cooking competition, cornhole tournament, arts and craft vendors and fun jumps for the kids. Come out and sample the best tailgating food around and watch a great game of cornhole.
Tour du Teche Canoe Race
Annual 135-mile canoe, kayak and pirogue race on Bayou Teche with local culture and flavor featuring nightly festivals at each stop. Held the first full weekend in October (Fri-Sun). The Iberia Parish portion of the race is on Oct. 3 with registration on Oct. 2.
Junior Farmer’s Market
Join the City of New Iberia for their junior farmer’s market where families will sell their handmade crafts.

LA Sugar Cane 4-H Livestock Show and Sale
4-H students compete in youth livestock shows. Livestock auction is Saturday at 2 p.m.

Burger Battle & Weiner Wars
Benefiting Hogs for the Cause. There will be three cooking categories: Traditional Burger, Non-Traditional Burger and Anything Goes Hotdog. Free to attend. Spanish Lake Vendors Market
A fun community event with vendors showcasing their products. Each market is usually seasonally themed.
