Write Out! is an event for students from 2nd grade to 12th grade led by National Writing Project teacher, author, and poet Margaret Simon. The program will begin at the Bayou Teche Museum. Students can be dropped off or accompanied by an adult, who will also be invited to write around downtown New Iberia. Event ends with a read aloud at the museum. Parents are encouraged to attend the reading. A cost of $10 covers supplies. Contact Margaret by email or cell to reserve a spot.
