New Iberia Beneath the Balconies
Series of theatrical presentations and musical performances on select balconies along New Iberia’s award-winning Main Street. Performances start at Shadows-on-the-Teche (317 E. Main St.) at 1 p.m. Bring lawn chair. Before the event, enjoy food and music on the grounds of the Shadows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Welcome to the Miss Boo Iberia Pageant, being held in conjunction with the New Iberia Halloween Parade and Festival. Age groups include Baby Miss through Lady. All contestants shall compete in costume or Halloween attire. Royalty will be invited to participate in the Parade and Festival.
World Championship Gumbo Cookoff

Tailgating Cook-off

Frightmare on Main Street
This terrifying outdoor trail is located on the grounds of the Historic Hot Sauce House on Main Street New Iberia. This secluded home location provides the perfect creepy backdrop for the trail, which will take you through several sets and attractions with live scare actors. Beware what is lurking in the dark corners!
Tour du Teche Canoe Race
Annual 135-mile canoe, kayak and pirogue race on Bayou Teche with local culture and flavor featuring nightly festivals at each stop. Held the first full weekend in October (Fri-Sun). The Iberia Parish portion of the race is on Oct. 3 with registration on Oct. 2.
