Shadows-on-the-Teche Farm Fest
The Shadows is celebrating the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival to bring you Farm Fest! Family fun, live entertainment, food and drinks.
All Things Fried Cookoff
Categories including seafood, non-seafood and dessert. Brittany Pool will perform 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and The Bad Boys will perform 3-6 p.m. Cooking starts at 10 a.m. and serving will begin at 12:30 p.m. Kids 4 and under are free, Age 5-12 $5, Age 12+ $10.
Louisiana Lao New Year Celebration
Lanexang Village celebrates the Lao New Year every Easter weekend with a three-day festival that includes live music, a beauty pageant, parades, sand castle building, kids activities, and several vendors selling clothes, jewelry, music and food from Southeast Asia.
Tailgating Cook-off
A family fun day with live music, cooking competition, cornhole tournament, arts and craft vendors and fun jumps for the kids. Come out and sample the best tailgating food around and watch a great game of cornhole.
Christmas in the Village
A small town family Christmas event. Tree lighting, food, vendors, music, kids activities, photos with Santa and special surprises.
Tour du Teche Canoe Race
Annual 100+ mile canoe, kayak and pirogue race on Bayou Teche with local culture and flavor featuring nightly festivals at each stop. Held the first full weekend in October (Fri-Sun).
