New Iberia Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will dedicate a historical marker honoring three Spanish founding fathers who were also revolutionary patriots from the Bayou Teche area. In addition, the diverse cultures of Spanish, French, Acadian, Anglo, and Free and Enslaved of African descent will also be honored for joining Galvez to fight the British along the Mississippi River.
