Every third Wednesday of the month. Les Cadiens du Teche (Cajun French Music Association) dance to Cajun music with a
meal, door prizes, cake walk, 50/50 and camaraderie, at their monthly public meeting.

Local farmers selling produce, plants, honey, homemade pies or any item made/produced locally. Grass-fed beef, pork and lamb are also available at the meat market during this time. The market also keeps produce in the GLC Farm Store during the week.

Play for a cause every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 10-game bingo night, benefiting non-profits and charities. It is $20 to play and reservations are accepted and encouraged. Each game will be a different charity partner to "split the jackpot" on winnings.

The first Friday of each month will feature local Cajun music while remaining Fridays will feature a variety of singers, songwriters as well as local legends. Pie Bar will offer a 10% discount on all menu items, every Monday, to all residents of New Iberia. Residents will simply show their drivers license (or other ID) to receive 10% off their food and drink order. Happy Hour is from 3-5pm with beer or a glass of wine at 1/2 price.

Experience a harvest of delicious homegrown produce and home-made products by area farmers, artists and crafters. Also included are hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and much more. The market is held every Saturday morning from 7 - 12 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 6 p.m.

Additionally, enjoy conversations with francophones and francophiles who visit New Iberia from all over the world as well as students in the French Immersion setting at North Lewis Elementary. Downtown businesses will be open and vendors will set up along East and West Main Street sidewalks, as well as Bouligny Plaza, to celebrate Shop Small Saturday.

Always the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Free Christmas concert by the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra presented by the Iberia Cultural Resources Association, featuring familiar Christmas songs as well as classical selections.
